Montic Dairy was founded in 1984 by Karl Kebert and his family, who remain actively involved in the leadership of the business, ensuring that only the finest dairy products and freshest milk are worthy of the Montic brand name. This continues to be the most significant reason for the brand’s success and ever-increasing popularity with multitudes of South African consumers. Currently Montic offers a wide variety of soft drinks, fruit juices and dairy blended beverages, fresh milk and cream, drinking yoghurt and UHT long-life dairy products, all of which are available throughout the majority of general trade outlets.

An extensive modern manufacturing plant and laboratory facilities are located at the company farm, which borders the picturesque Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve. However this idyllic setting is also conveniently close to major business centres – only 35km from the bustling heart of Johannesburg. Montic recently acquired a depot in Silverton, Pretoria, which enables us to increase our distribution footprint.

Apart from its ongoing dedication to quality, nutrition and healthy family values, Montic has remained closely involved with the local community, where among other initiatives it funds a primary school, crèche and an Ithuba Skills College for children who are at high school level. The school provides education and food for over 500 children from the area in which the farm is situated.
